Certified Coders/Auditors Wanted for HCC Positions
Medsave USA, a record retrieval and coding company based out
of Long Island, New York is seeking
AHIMA and/or AAPC Certified Medical Coders and Auditors to work from home. We
have several positions available and are looking for professional coders that
are dedicated to providing superior coding and excellent customer service.

Employment Requirements:

Required Certification (any one of the
following): CPC, CPC-H, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA or RHIT
·
Minimum of 2+ years of certified coding
experience with minimum of 6 months previous HCC coding experience
·
HEDIS experience a plus
·
A strong knowledge base of medical
terminology, medical abbreviations, pharmacology and disease processes
·
Ability to analyze and abstract codes from hand
written and electronic medical records
·
Ability to work in a fast paced production
environment while maintaining a minimum
QA level of 95%accuracy
·
Must be able to follow instructions, meet
deadlines and work independently.
·
Excellent written and verbal communication
skills, ability to work in a remote environment , excellent time management
skills
·
Working knowledge of the business use of
computer hardware and software to ensure effectiveness and quality of the
processing and security of the data.
·
Requires skill in the use of a wide variety of
office equipment including: computer, routers, and other office equipment as
required.
·
PT and FT hours available-must be able to commit
to a minimum of 20 hours weekly
Job Description:
The certified coder reviews, analyzes, and codes diagnostic
information in a patient's medical record based on client specific guidelines
for the project. The coder will ensure compliance with established ICD-9
CM coding guidelines, third party reimbursement policies, regulations and
accreditation guidelines.
