A Payer's Medical Director's Perspective
Speaker: Dr. Stephen Sorsby, MD
Dr. Sorsby will tell us what his role is as Medical Director of QualChoice. He will tell us his responsibilities, and the role he plays in paying or denying claims. He will open the floor for comments, and will cover many important and interesting topics that will help us in coding. Bring your coding books. Dr. Sorsby will join us for our holiday meal before he begins the educational component of our meeting.

The Searcy Building is in the Westlake Corporate Complex Directions: Executive Center Drive is located off of Shackleford Road, across from the Heart Hospital. Turn onto Executive Center Drive from Shackleford at the light that is across the street from the Heart Hospital. There is signage for the Searcy Building, which will be on the left side of the street. Take the elevator down to the plaza level. Turn right and follow the hall past the water fountain to Room 4, which will be on the left. You will find our AAPC group of coders.
